Job update: Senior Learning Specialist

I’m pleased to announce that I have taken a new contract at Telus, through the end of January 2013, as a Senior Learning Specialist. I’ll still be working with Continuous Learning, but will be moving into instructional design for more complex projects, along with driving strategy for social media, social learning, and our e.training site’s development.

As previously reported, Telus’ “work styles” approach affords me terrific work/life balance flexibility, and I’ll still be working from the home office with occasional trips to 25 York. Still working with the same group of people - although this now means I’ll have Allison Reid Hayes Whatever to kick around when she gets back from mat leave in July.

Big plans for 2012 - it’s a pretty exciting time to be doing what I’m doing. Plus, in the off-hours, more reviews for The Substream, all the Mamo you can stand, at least one short film shooting this spring, and a feature script I’m diving into. Geronimo!
